Jessica Facca and Nick Thompson exchanged vows at Cuvier Park in La Jolla, California overlooking the Pacific on a perfect sunny San Diego Saturday. Jessica was one of the most calm and poised brides I have had a chance to work with. She customized her bridesmaid's adorable totes and their floral robes looked right out of a well crafted Pinterest Board. Her bridesmaids were a lot of fun and I loved their individual personal expression they each wanted to showcase in their looks. Jessica is a beautiful girl and her dress was absolutely stunning. I brought Eileen Tatu on board to hand craft their curls for the special day. For the Bride's makeup, we went with a slightly warm tone smokey eye adorned with a pair of MAC #36 lashes and a beautiful rosey pink lip to finish her look. I am so happy for both Nick and Jessica and wish them many years of happiness!

I had the opportunity to spend Labor Day weekend up in the great Pacific Northwest not only visiting with friends, but working with a makeup artist/stylist friend of mine, Anne Timss and her team. 3 weddings and helping Anne out on set with a Starbuck's social media campaign was time well spent getting to connect with clients and doing what I love, makeup! The weddings were spread out at various venues around the Seattle area such as a classic hotel setting on Capitol Hill to a view of the Sound. Anne and her team were absolute professionals to work with. Kat St. John and Jessica Rockwell sure know how to turn out the beautiful bridal hair styles of the Northwest. On our last full day together, Anne took me out to a Bavarian Village in the Mountains called Leavenworth. Super Fun!
